I usually love Meg Cabot's writes. She's good in expressing words. Well, this book is kinda special than others. Why? Yeah, she write 'all' this book in e-mail format. It's nice than diary format. I - my self don't really like to read a book in diary format, it's annoying me.
This book tell a story about a woman, Mel - Melissa Fuller, who is a kind hearted woman and work for The New York Journal. One day, her next door neighbour, an old woman called Mrs. Friedlander attacked by someone, and because of her careness, she help that woman who in a deep sleep - coma, to take care pets.
That's how she met Max Friedlander who at the same time not Max Friedlander. Confuse, huh? :)
What I mean is this Max Friedlander is the only one cousin of Helen Friedlander, who contacted by Mel to take care his aunt. But, Max prefer to spend his time with a Victoria Secret's model, Vivica, which cause he make call for his old friend who owe him for his goodness when They were in college.
Then, Max ask John Trent, a rich guy born by Trent clan from Park Avenue. At first, John act good in front of Mel, and feel nothing but a nice girl for Mel. But, as the time they pass, flowers of love are blooming at that apartment.
What will John do with his forbidden love using Max's name? How about Mel, who has a bad experience in love, betrayed by Aaron Spender? How can Mel and John going to with John's family? and what do Mel's friends said about their relationship? Watch out! Do not fascinated with John's charm! ;)
