This is it! My 2nd digital painting. Well, It still messed up, I know.
Mrs. Octapuss just passed my mind when I was given this task : non - human character. I really not into any kind of monsters with big red eye, sharp tusk, or claw.

She just keep cross my mind so that I decided to draw her. At first, my total imagination weren't this colorful, which mine were play the color totally in blue - white - black. I were inspired by luminous paints which I watch years ago.
My cute bitchy Mrs. Octapuss at first were more monstrous with purple-maroon color and flat-oval face and more narrow eyes.
This picture were totally messed up by her cloth. That fabric originally gonna look more... fabric? I mean here it supposed to have more texture, more dynamic. And the light lines behind is one of fatal mistake by my lack of experience and skill. I wanna make them looks like sun light diffusing through sea water and sunbathing the underwater world. And hell yeah, I'm totally out of my imagination of exotic underwater world. But, still, I'm glad that I make it through this.

Another artwork! Here it is, my first digital painting by trace a picture using pen tool. I've chosen IU - a Korea singer - picture to trace. Well, though my final result doesn't look like her even a little...
I love this paint's color, since I used pastels so that this paint give such a young and fresh impression.

lamp in the box

This is an assignment for my shape and form analysis class last exam. I think it could be a sleep lamp in the night since the lamp is small. Well, just keep lot of battery in your desk then :))

Perahu kertas adalah manusia dan gelombang air yang abstrak adalah problema-problema dalam hidup, serta lampu diletakkan di bagian puncak dengan burung dan awan, yang merupakan apa yang ingin dicapai setiap orang yaitu kebahagiaan dan kesejahteraan. Adapun kapal dibuat seakan makin mendekat dengan langit-langit dimaksudkan bahwa dengan hantaman permasalahan dan cobaan dapat membuat seseorang menjadi kuat dan mencapai puncak, serta walaupun permasalahan terus ada dan menggoyahkan manusia, manusia harus tahu bahwa suatu saat, masalah akan hilang dan mereka dapat menemukan kebahagiaan. Here there are, another pics of my tasks for last assignment for my painting class.
the theme is : peoples around you who contributes most in your life - well, in simple way, peoples who you think are important.
So at first, I was going to paint down Jeffri fernando and his works (book covers) on glass jars. But the jars I want are with cork on it's top, and I couldn't find it. That's why I chose ceramic plates.
When I tried to make his book covers on plate, the size just didn't suit well, and it looks bad. So, I chose to paint down my family faces.
Well, I think it's same if I paint on canvas or on the plate, but... the acrylic didn't glued on the plate!
I sit since 8 in morning and ended my day at about 2 in night, when the day already changed. Hell? yeah. I got back ache those days.

Dicey

Yahooo! I come with another color project, about how to accentuate an object in the center of the paper.
I use a manila paper which sized 30 time 30 cm, which divided to small rectangles sized 2,5 time 2,5 cm. Then the middle object must have size between 10 till 12 cm on each sides. 
Well, I don't really know why do I draw a dice on it, it's just a sudden idea in my head. And yes. It's exactly tiring to use poster color ( I use Penthel) with paint brush number 2 by Lyra paint those small rectangles. I sit for hours and hold my breath as long as I paint so that I won't let the colors mixed each other.
Well, enjoy the emphasis of my draw. 

When someone said that design is easy, it let peoples know how much this person's knowledge about desing > a quote by my lecturer :)

Coloring

I do paint this one as impressionism, but it doesn't look like it since... Well, I know I still bad in color choosing, so I do try to improve the way I choose colors.

This 2nd picture is pointilism, another style I love. The most great pointilism which I love is one presented by my lecturer, which display a big wave which going to crush on a mountain, and that paint we see from far length, but when we look closer, We'll get that the mountain is pointed by paint many cans.

Fauvism is the style which you don't need to care about color rules. It's free to use colors! :)

express yourself

I do love painting. This first paint photo is me. It's an assignment themed about the painters themselves.

The 2nd assignment using acrylic, is about ourselves - 5 years later. Well, we can call it as a dream for future then. Maybe you can't see it, but I do give texture thingy in it. Just guess where it is!

Chinese ink paints
